Susan Weber, APLD, LEED Green Associate, Principal of Integrity Sustainable Planning and Design, has nearly two decades of experience in business ownership, sustainable design, project development, oversight, and management.
She has served as Partner/Principal in multiple companies, including Urban Wild and Genius Loci, two Ohio-based sustainable design firms, and the Greener Grocer, a sustainable produce store in Columbus’ historic North Market. She served as a founding member and Director of Operations for Local Matters, a Columbus-based nonprofit organization specializing in healthy local food accessibility. Her entrepreneurial expertise and her depth of knowledge in the field of sustainable landscape design create many opportunities for practical, creative design solutions.
Susan holds an Associate Degree with distinction in Landscape Design/Build from Columbus State Community College. She is certified as a master designer with the Association of Professional Landscape Designers, and served on that organization’s Board of Directors for 5 years as Environmental Chair. She is currently a member of the Board of Directors at the Ohio Art League.
Susan loves to cook with her two sons, family and friends, and has a special love for preparing dishes using fresh-from-the-garden ingredients. She performs at local events with several Columbus hand-drumming groups. Susan is known for her passion for using unique salvaged materials in projects throughout her home, and she still has a deep and abiding love affair with her hometown, Columbus, Ohio!
Sandy Frey, LEED Green Associate, Principal of Integrity Sustainable Planning and Design, has more than 26 years of project management experience in the commercial construction industry. Sandy honed her skills in Construction Management by working in the three major fields of the construction industry – Owner/Developer/General Contractor. This experience helps to navigate the entire project process resulting in higher quality, cost effective and timely projects.
As a Senior Project Manager for general contracting and developer companies including Setterlin and U.S. Properties Group, Sandy focused on ground up construction of retail shopping centers, medical buildings, office, and stand alone retail buildings. During her career as construction manager with The Limited/Store Planning and Chico’s, and as Project Manager for Corna/Kokosing and Hanlin-Rainaldi, she focused on the build-out of high end retail, medical, and office facilities.
Sandy holds a BFA from The Ohio State University and a Certificate in Sustainable Building from Columbus State Community College. She is a current member of the U.S. Green Building Council Central Ohio Chapter, the Green Space Working Group for the Mayor’s Green Team, and the Capitol Square Rotary Club.
Sandy loves music – attending the symphony, hosting house concerts for traveling musicians, performing at local events with her hand drumming group pals, and playing guitar with her friends. She loves to travel to experience the cultural diversity in community, food, architecture and the relationships to environmental surroundings.
